Sitting a mere 30 steps to the water’s edge our Unit enjoys the western view with the sunset, Lanai & Molokai as your backdrop! We remodeled our Unit and completed the following: brand new carpeting and tile throughout the entire Unit, brand new beds, new bedroom furniture, fresh paint throughout the Unit, new HD TV’s and some new appliances. The Unit’s view is one of the best on the entire Kahana Village property, and all of the guests who have stayed in our Unit since the remodel have raved of how comfortable everything is, how well stocked the kitchen is, and of course the great view.   The condo and building are older as is everything in the area but the grounds and garden were well kept and beautiful. The service was excellent with a newspaper every morning, clean towels as needed etc.

  Very nice unit. Grand kids enjoyed the beach and the turtles. Unit was very well equipped with all our needs and the view and location almost on the beach was ideal. AC was nice to have in August as well. We would go back.

  Our condo #23 was just as described, and in some cases better. The complex itself was quiet, very well maintained, well laid out, very clean and was managed by a well oiled group of caring people. There was no hustle bustle, crowds or miscellaneous extra charges for our everyday needs or comfort (As there is in large hotels). The fully equipped kitchen had everything, and then some. Even the knives were sharp. The pictures depicted the unit and complex very well. What you see is what you get, and more. We were more than pleased. We had an issue with the cable box; maintenance was there within 10 minutes and replaced it immediately. A fan switch went bad and that was replaced within minutes.
  
  There was a very ample supply of bath, kitchen and beach towels, ice chests and beach items. The beach itself is swimable and perfect for families and groups.
  
  The mai tai party was very nice and attended by everyone. We found that many people were returning guests, for years.

  We had a great visit. Our family of 4 (kids aged 1 and 4) was part of a larger group of 8 adults and 8 children. Kahana Village is just that -- a little village where our group lived together for a week.
  
  The staff of Kahana Village was very friendly and welcoming. The party they throw for the guests on Wednesday night was one of the highlights of our stay.
  
  The grounds of the resort were well maintained, as was our condo. The only issue with the condo was the location of one of the beds close to the low railing in the loft, since our 4 year old is pretty rambunctious it concerned us that she might fall over the railing. It would be fine for adults though.
  
  The beach outside the property is scenic but not ideal for hanging out and swimming. That's fine though, the location is ideal for us since our favourite beaches in Maui are nearby at Napili, Kapalua, and Kaanapali/Black Rock.
  
  Favourite activities were snorkelling at Kapalua, playing in the waves at Napili, Snorkelling at Black Rock, skimboarding at Kanaapali (rental and lesson through ), hiking down to the Nakalele blowhole, and the beautiful (and sometimes scary) drive along the narrow roads on the northern part of the Island.
  
  We had some memories to last a lifetime and would recommend Kahana Village to all our friends and family!
