Unit #30

Kahana Village’s most requested 3 bedroom beach house, “Ka Lae” or “The Point” in English, is beachfront on the most north western edge of the property on Kaia Point and just 30 feet to our sandy beach. This enviable location awards “Ka Lae” an unparalleled 280 degree view, you can see north Kaanapali to Kapalua along with the islands of Molokai and Lanai.

The 10’ X 30’ covered lanai is where all the action is, in winter you’ll be amazed at the whale sightings, especially in the morning. In the afternoon, if the trade winds are up, kite surfers and wind surfers setup and take off from our beach. If the surf is up you’ll see board surfers heading out to the reef to catch a wave, fishermen will work the beach and rocks to bring home a fresh catch for dinner, kayaks and outrigger canoes pass by either site seeing or exercising and turtle sightings are quite normal. Enjoy a candle light dinner on the teak lanai table or a breakfast while waiting for the whales to breach. The lanai is slightly elevated which makes it completely private to the occasional passerby.

The kitchen is well equipped with most everything you need to prepare a great meal including a full set of Global knives, none stick and stainless steel cookware, an Instant Pot, Hawaiian Chef's cookbooks are above the refrigerator to help prepare those local “island style” meals. There is a spice drawer with a few spices but you may need to pick up your favorite. The Kitchen and wet bar has a Vitamix 5200 blenders to whip up your favorite blended drinks and a cocktail shaker for those martinis. There is collection of books under the wet bar sink, a few games in the next cabinet including chess and decks of cards in the drawer. The teak box next to the front door has a few beach chairs and boogie boards for your use and the ice chests, in the pantry, will make your trips to other beaches more enjoyable. A stereo system is located in the living room with individual speakers and volume controllers in the each room.

“Ka Lae” went through extensive remodeling in 2015 to make this beach house a perfect place to stay. It is very comfortable, very private and the best equipped at Kahana Village.

  Simply put, we loved unit 30. We have traveled to Maui many times and have stayed at many different condos but this is so far our favorite. The views are fantastic, the condo well cared for and the staff very responsive. When we come to Maui again, this is where we'll stay.

  Wow! Couldn't be in a better location. Very comfortable for a 3 generation family of 6. Decorated beautifully. The unit was in a convenient location. The first day we saw whales spout and breach. There was also a turtle sleeping on the beach. Every seasoning was available for cooking as were water toys. Would love to return!

  Unit #30 at Kahana Village is a wonderful corner condo. The view is amazing and the interior of the condo is comfortable and the kitchen is complete with appliances, cookery and utensils.
  
  We swam and snorkeled at 3 different beaches that were only a few minutes away.
  
  Minutes away are the Seahouse Restaurant which serves very good food at a reasonable price. The China Boat is within walking distance and has great Chinese Food.
  
  We always receive great service from the Kahana Village staff. We have travelled to Maui 4 out of the past 5 years and have stayed at Kahana Village every time.

  Stayed in Unit 30 with 2 couples, 3 young children. Everything about this unit was perfect, from the view to the accomodations. Only downside was the pool is quite cold and children under 10 aren't allowed in the hot tub. However the beach was great and provided hours of pleasure.

  We have been visiting Kahana Village almost every year since 1985. The property is well maintained and #30 is always being updated. There is a beautiful beach and the views are magnificent. Even in December there is plenty of whale watching from the comfort of the deck. This is where we come to relax and long to return.   The resort was a welcome slice of paradise for our 7-member family group: serene, beautiful, peaceful. Loved our corner unit #30 and all its amenities: spectacular 270 degree view, lovely sandy beach-and turtles- only feet from our lanai, and constant ocean breezes. Greatly appreciated the friendly staff and relaxed hospitality. Loved the complimentary Wednesday evening Mai Tai parties! Our five-year-old enjoyed dancing with the hula dancer to the lively guitar and ukulele playing and singing.
